I thought I would write and give you a progress report on my new clubs. I have to say that I am really pleased with my results so far - the first time out I came 3rd in the monthly medal and last weekend I returned an 86 gross in pretty dire playing conditions (very muddy and very windy). The first thing I noticed was that the grips give me a much better feel of the clubs and I seem to be hitting the ball a club further and with much more accuracy. If I can play to my handicap or just below it in grim winter conditions, then I am really looking forward to getting it down when spring arrives.
