N.S. Golf Shaft Standard Trimming Specs

When re-shafting, be sure to observe the standard trimming specifications shown in the table below to ensure that the shaft's original characteristics are maintained to the fullest.

• Tip trim shows the length that can be cut off from the shaft tip. If it is 0, trimming should be done from the shaft butt (grip side) only.

• First, cut off the tip by following the specifications shown in the table on the right. Then attach the club head and cut from the butt to the standard club length.

• The table shows recommended trimming specifications. You may custom-trim to adjust flex according to your personal preferences. However, excessive trimming that significantly exceeds the specified lengths may degrade the strength of the shaft.

• Wood shafts do not support through bores, but can be directly used with blind-bore heads. (Using through bores will cause the shaft to harden slightly.)
