Max Morgan wins Wellingborough Junior Open championship in October |

Max Morgan - member at Stoke Albany and Wellingborough golf club playing off 22. In April 2001 I was runner up in the mens April medal at Stoke Albany.
September 2001 winner of the September junior medal at Stoke Albany, and my biggest achievement was winning the Wellingborough Junior Open championship in October where I scored a net 66. It was a good year for me, I'm sure that the clubs you made for me certainly has helped my handicap to come down. thanks. |

I've checked out your web-site, Dave and I thought it was very good. Do you really want to know what I have won during the last 6 months ? O.K. here goes:
Winner: Club Championship ( by 24 shots ! )
Winner: Birdie Tree
Winner: Summer Eclectic Competition
Winner: Foursome knockout club competition
R. Up: Singles knockout
R. Up: 4 ball better ball knockout ( with Jo )
Also my partner and I got through to the 6th round of the Daily Mail Foursomes.
Also won a few monthly medals and stablefords !!!
Not a bad year I suspose, except my handicap went up from 10 to 11!!!! However I am hoping to come back down next year, maybe even to 9 ( my aim in life !), with some help from Big Red and maybe some new woods !!!!!!!!

Dear Andy, just to let you know that i am very pleased with my new custom clubs. I have recently won a golf society competition where i beat all other competiters (even my dad who has been playing for 25 years!). they have certainly improved my game no end, and i enjoy playing even more now.

Stoke Albany lady member Helen Argo has come down from 41 to 36 handicap. Well done Helen.
Helen Argo has also reported that at a recent BigRed Golf School held at Rushden GC, all nine ladies on the course were playing with clubs made for them by Designer Golf.
The ladies concerned were from different clubs around the region. |
