| Designer Golf has become a certified Rifle centre - enabling them to custom build clubs using the Royal Precision Rifle shaft, as used by many players on tour.
The Midlands based company is only the second in the UK to have successfully completed the Certified Rifle Centre Programme, studying the technique of frequency matching which measures and defines a shaft's flex through electronic calibration - so that it flexes and feels the same with every swing .
As well as being frequency matched, the Rifle steel shaft features a unique taper shape which:
- provides exceptional strength throughout its length and allows more energy to be realized at impact, and
- enables the shock wave created at impact to travel freely up the shaft reducing vibrations to the player.
