I know it is not much but it is a start. I collected my new set of clubs from Andrew last Thursday and played with them for the first time in the Medal on Saturday. Shot net 80 off 28 handicap from the Competition White tees. Not great I hear you say but probably still one of my best medal scores.
On Sunday went out in a friendly 2 ball playing the Members Blue tees (almost white) and shot a net 70 including 3 pars (back to back 17 & 18) scoring 39 stableford points earning a 1 shot reduction in my handicap. As I am getting more & more confident with the new clubs I know I am striking the ball much better, my new 7 wood fast becoming my favorite club. Going out again this weekend looking for even better. Watch this space!!!.
